About Solo, Solo, Together:

Solo, Solo, Together is a paid choreographic mentorship focused on building personal solo dances. The mentorship will provide practical skill building, knowledge sharing, and studio time for a cohort of emerging dance artists, both with and without disabilities interested in developing their choreographic practice.

Solo, Solo, Together will take place over 4-months (January - April, 2026) and consist of workshops, studio sessions, peer to peer feedback, studio space, “outside eye” support, documentation and a public studio showing. Choreographers will be guided through  group workshops with tasks, questions and activities to generate movement vocabulary, develop choreographic ideas and structure their solos.

Beyond the weekly workshops, participants are asked to commit to a minimum of 1 weekly solo rehearsal. The project will culminate in a public, studio performance.
