Vancouver, Unceded Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh Territory
Dancing WITH Teaching Exchange is a paid mentorship training focused on inclusive community dance practice. The training will provide practical skill building, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to a small cohort of dance artists, both with and without disabilities interested in ABDP’s accessible community-based work.

Dancing WITH Teaching Exchange will take place over 5-months (January - May 2025) and training will be provided through workshops, studio sessions, practice teaching opportunities, class observations, one to one discussions, and participation in ABDP’s weekly community classes.
Priority will be given to artists who have faced barriers to gaining typical dance training and barriers to typical employment. The intention is to expand our roster of teachers, grow our network, and provide opportunities for underserved artists.
