Alison Klein (she/fae)

Collaborator / Class Assistant

Alison is a mixed ethnic white queer settler on the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tseil-Watuth lands. They have experience as a self advocate in the disability community through many arts organizations and festivals. Alison has a radio show and podcast on CFRO Co-op Radio 100.5 FM about arts and culture in the disability community, called The Self Advocate. All Bodies Dance has been on Alison’s show multiple times! They have volunteered for the Folk Festival, Fringe Festival, Writer’s Festival, Vancouver Pride, and PuSh Festival, all with accessibility. Alison currently works with neurodiverse LGBTQ+ people, connecting them to the wider queer community. Lastly, they have a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a double focus in Cultural Studies and Work, Organization, and Leadership. When not working as a self advocate, Alison likes to knit, watch TV and movies, and come to All Bodies Dance.
