Photo Credit: Chris Randle A photo of a large group of people in a bright studio space all participating in the same movement. All the dancers have their arms lifted out to the sides, chests opening, looking up to the sky in a moment of shared breath and connection. There are dancers sitting in their manual or power wheelchairs, and there are standing dancers. Everyone is wearing casual clothing. The mood is uplifting and expansive.

About the Class

These classes welcomed movers of all backgrounds and experiences including those who identify as persons with disabilities, LGBTQ2S+, IBPOC, poor, fat, D/deaf, and Mad. We celebrate the body in all of its beautiful variations in size, shape, and capacities. Classes explore improvisation in an open, safe, and fun environment. Experience the joy of moving and creating within a diverse community where differences are celebrated.

Each session culminates in a studio performance open to the public where we share the work done during the term.

Absolutely no experience or skill required!
