About THIS IS WHAT WE KNOW NOW: Reflections on 10 years of ABDP:
We’re looking for personal stories, reflections, and creative responses to help tell the story of our community and share the knowledge that we hold as ABDP.

Dancers, choreographers, participants, collaborators, teachers, and supporters of All Bodies Dance Project are all invited to contribute writing for this collective archive, which will be compiled into an online book that we can share with the public. Submissions can be a mixture of writing, images, poetry, or drawing and can respond to one or more of the following prompts:

-
How has ABDP impacted you as an artist / dancer / human?
-
What have you learned from / with ABDP?
-
What do you want other artists / people to know about ABDP’s approach?
-
What has ABDP made you curious about?
-
What does ABDP have to contribute to the world?
-
Describe a specific memory or experience from ABDP that was particularly impactful to you.

The process of turning contributions into a book will be led by Naomi Brand with editorial support from Andrea Cownden. Like choreographing a group dance, Naomi and Andrea’s task will be to support and help shape the contributions with an eye on the big picture. Contributing artists may be asked to make changes to their work to ensure the cohesion of the final document.

Written submissions can be between 50-1000 words, and mixed media submissions should be able to fit on one page.

We will facilitate a co-working session open to anyone interested in working on a contribution. The session will include a creative warm-up, personal reflection, and focused work time. Time and place to be determined.

**Honorariums available. Amount is to be determined based on the number of people who contribute.
