Bryna Andressen (they/them)

External conflict resolution support

Bryna Andressen is an artist and mental health worker – a settler with western European roots who lives in Edmonton / Treaty 6 Territory.

Bryna loves ideas, movement, daily practices, and strong connections. They feel most at home when making art in various forms and collaborating on shared projects. They always make space for tender feelings, and find curiosity and delight in all the awkward, exquisite, and unexpected learning that comes through dance and movement.

As a way to combine interdisciplinary arts and mental health care, Bryna earned an MA in Counselling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco in 2013, and currently works as a counsellor. Bryna has been dancing with the All Bodies Dance Project since 2015, and they appreciate being part of the strong and welcoming community that has grown through accessible movement.
