All Bodies Dance Project creates new, innovative works of contemporary dance that challenge preconceived societal ideas of what dance can be. Works are created through a variety of creative processes including collaborations, commissions and single authorship. Pieces are choreographed and performed by artists with and without disabilities, both emerging and established artists.
Our works range in form from site-specific pieces, dances on film, improvised scores, school shows, immersive performances and choreographed works for the stage.
We are interested in making dances that explore and celebrate the potential of diverse bodies, minds and mobility devices moving and creating together through a process that honours both individual autonomy and collective generosity. While aesthetically diverse, our repertoire of works share values for humanity, community and difference.
